Job description
As a truck driver for our tipping trailer department, you can say one thing: you are a true professional.
You will be on the roads of Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, and France, transporting our customers’ products such as malt for the brewing industry or cocoa for the chocolate industry.
Every day you will be on the road under your own responsibility and will carry out your tasks with the support of our team of transport planners.
Our planning and scheduling department consists of a dynamic and professional team with many years of experience. To make communication as easy as possible, our equipment is networked at all times with the help of modern technologies.
To ensure that you are fully familiar with your tasks, you will receive a thorough practical induction from one of our experienced colleagues immediately after you start at SGL GmbH.
During the first few days, you will visit the loading and unloading points of our customers together in order to become familiar with the processes.

Flexible shift programme
As a truck driver, it is not always easy to combine work with private time with the family.
SGL GmbH offers a wide variety of shift programmes to support this.
– Shift programmes: two or three weeks of work with one or two weeks off
– Equipment locations in Salzgitter (Germany) and Swalmen (Netherlands)
– Assumption of travel expenses from abroad, such as travel by private car or air ticket
Your profile:
– CE driving licence, code 95, digital driver card
– Experience with tractor unit / trailer combination
– Experience in bulk goods transport is an advantage
– Knowledge of the German or English language
– Responsible and accurate work
– You are willing to work occasional weekends
